About Bette Johnson

Bette Johnson is an award-winning interior designer who works with elite clients of all ages and specializes in helping active retirees in Southern California enhance their homes.

She provides complete interior design services, and is one of the area's leading providers of those services to 50+ homeowners who are, or will soon be retired and reside in Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. Drawing from her more than 20 years of design experience, she helps them revise, update and upgrade the value of their homes.

Bette works extensively with active, mature couples, as well as younger clients. She helps "empty nesters" transform their space to meet their changing physical needs, and make their homes compatible for visiting grandchildren or aging parents.

Bette's clients include former CEOs, business owners and other leading professionals.  Those clients benefit considerably from the project management and customer service skills that she developed during her 30 year career as a manager of technology projects for leading Orange County companies.

Bette offers services ranging from kitchen and bath designs, space planning and home technology consultations to selection of furniture, carpeting and window treatments. She is assisted by a team of some of Southern California's most prominent painters, drapery specialists, kitchen and bath professionals, lighting technicians and others.

She also helps contractors design and furnish the interiors of new homes. In addition to her extensive residential design activity, she provides design services for the offices of doctors, dentists, attorneys and other small businesses.

Her experience earlier in her career working for the world's largest interior decorating and design franchise organization helped Bette develop her expertise about interiors. She earned an interior  design degree from Fullerton College, after earlier graduating from Pepperdine University with a management degree.
